August on two wheels 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️

What a month it’s been for Crossgar Cycling Club! 🙌

August has seen our members getting out and about, clocking up the miles and supporting some fantastic events and causes — from the Killinchy 100, Minerstown Charity Event and Innishowen 100, to our own Elliott, Roche and Bennett club rides, and of course a 600 kilometre in 24 hour team Charity Cycle. 👏

Plenty of miles, plenty of laughs, great company and, most importantly, a great bunch of people enjoying getting out on the bikes. 🚴‍♂️💨

And we’re not slowing down! 😎

Best of luck to club member Fintan Murray as he takes on the Rás Tailteann from 20th–24th May 2026!

Fintan will be lining up with Meath‑based Team Vindex Cycling, taking on Ireland’s biggest and most iconic stage race. An incredible opportunity and a fantastic experience for any rider.

Everyone at Crossgar Cycling Club wishes him a safe, strong and memorable week on the roads. Enjoy every minute of it, Fintan — we’re all behind you.

🚴‍♂️ Huge Congratulations to Phil! 💪🔥

A massive well‑done to Phil who took on the legendary Mallorca 312 today and smashed the 226km route — and he did it solo from start to finish.

An incredible effort, unbelievable determination, and a brilliant achievement to be proud of. Taking on that distance on your own is no small task, but Phil absolutely rose to the challenge.

👏 Well done Phil — the club is proud of you!

🎉🚴‍♂️ Crossgar Cycling Club Turns 10! 🚴‍♀️🎉

Hard to believe, but our club is officially 10 years old this month — a whole decade of miles, memories, friendships, and plenty of laughs along the way.

To mark the occasion, here are some photos of our current members, proudly carrying the club forward and keeping the wheels turning. From the early days to today, the spirit of the club has always been the same: welcoming, supportive, and full of good craic.

A massive thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey — past and present. Here’s to the next ten years of exploring new roads, growing our community, and enjoying every ride together.

Today we celebrate 10 years of cycling — a decade of rides, milestones, friendships, and a shared passion for life on two wheels.
A huge thank you to all members, past and present, who have been part of this journey over the years. Your support, commitment, and love for cycling have helped shape this club into what it is today. Every ride, every mile, every smile has mattered.
📸 To mark the occasion, we’ll be taking a club photo this Sunday morning before the 8:30am club ride — we’d love to see as many of you there as possible to help capture this milestone!
