♣️♦️♠️♥️ Week 13 Results ♥️♠️♦️♣️
Last night was the final night of Season 1 2024, and there was a lot at stake! FOUR places to the Redtooth Poker Regional Finals at Grosvenor Poker Reading South where the winner gets a trip to Vegas with the .
Any of the top 10 could theoretically qualify for the top four places, and with 3rd place, Sam Harber away (in Vegas), John Sharman had is eyes on a spot!
The leader, Scott Prior, went out midway through the evening, followed shortly after by 2nd placed Paul Skinner. When Marie Gibbs went out in 14th, John Sharman thought he had done enough, forgetting that he had to make the final table to gain the extra 10 points he needed! Unfortunately he went out next, leaving Marie's fate in the hands of Laurence Reeves, Will Maxwell and Kirk Spencer, with Will & Laurence needing the win!
So, the prize money - £780 - was split as follows:
6th - Mick Noakes - £40
5th - Will Maxwell - £100
4th - Matt Carr - £100
3rd - Kirk Spencer - £150
2nd - James Robertson - £190
1st - Damien Goldsmith - £200
Well done Damien on his first win at Crookham Poker!!
Will made a galiant effort, but only managed 5th, not quite enough to gain a top four spot, however, Kirk took 70 points for 3rd, boosting him to 3rd overall!!! This means Marie unfortunately drops out of the top 4, with Sam holding on to the final spot.
So, the season WINNER is Scott Prior!!! Well done Scott, and well deserved!
And the four Regional Finalists are Scott Prior, Paul Skinner, Kirk Spencer and Sam Harber. Please let me know ASAP if you cannot make it!
