Is your child looking for somewhere safe to go, get active and spend time with friends?

Do you know a young person aged 12–17 who would benefit from getting out, being active and having a kick about?

Willington Youth Football Club are starting a NEW DROP-IN SESSION! 🙌

📍 Parkside Academy, Willington
📅 Every Monday
⏰ 5.30pm – 6.30pm
👦👧 Ages 12–17

There’s NO STRUCTURE and NO PRESSURE — just a safe, welcoming space to come along, meet others, get active and have a kick about with friends. ⚽

👟 Shoes/football boots must be worn
🚲 No bikes allowed on the pitch

Coaches Warren & Brooklyn will be there to check everyone in at the start. We’ll need name, date of birth and emergency contact details for every player.

❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU! ❤️

We would like to say a massive thank you to Parmo & More Crook, Believe Housing, and Barclays Football for their incredible support of our children.

🧥 Parmo & More Crook have very kindly bought every child a jacket to help keep them warm during the winter months. What a fantastic and thoughtful gesture! 🙌

⚽ Believe Housing provided a grant to purchase essential equipment for the team, helping us make sure the children have what they need to enjoy their football.

🏟️ Barclays Football provided a grant towards pitch hire, which has made a huge difference and, most importantly, has allowed us to take children off our waiting list and give them the opportunity to play football. ❤️

The support from local businesses and organisations like these makes such a positive difference to our club and the children we support.

From all of us — thank you so much for believing in our children and helping us give them opportunities they deserve! 👏⚽❤️

⚽ NEW DEVELOPMENT SESSION – NEXT LEVEL ⚽

We’re excited to announce our new Development Session, starting Tuesday 6:30–7:30pm at Parkside Academy!

The sessions will be led by Dave Johns, one of our experienced coaches, with a focus on helping players develop their skills, confidence and understanding of the game.

The sessions will also be tailored around requests and areas for development identified by coaches during Saturday matches, helping players work specifically on the parts of their game that need improvement. 💪⚽

Starting 8th of September

⏰ 6:30–7:30pm

💳 Payment is due on the 1st of each month

Calling all girls!!! ♥️ Willington Youth Football Club is delighted to announce that we have been awarded an Access Grant from the Barclays Community Sport Fund, being delivered in partnership with Sported.

The funding will help us expand and strengthen our provision for girls aged 5–16 in Willington and the surrounding communities.

As a grassroots, community-focused club, we are committed to ensuring that every young person has the opportunity to participate in football, regardless of their background or circumstances.

The grant will support essential costs including facility hire, football equipment and kit, while helping us reduce financial barriers for families who may otherwise struggle with the cost of organised sport.Barclays Football sported please get in touch with the page and we will give you details of groups available ⚽️⚽️⚽️

⚽️ Willington Youth 3v3 Tournament 2026⚽️

A huge well done to every player, coach, volunteer and supporter who attended today's tournament. It was fantastic to see so many teams coming together and, most importantly, enjoying what football is all about.

The quality of football on display was excellent, but even better was the sportsmanship, teamwork, respect and smiles shown throughout the day. Every player should be proud of the effort, determination and attitude they brought to the tournament.

Thank you to all the clubs who travelled to take part and helped make the day such a success. Days like today remind us why grassroots football is so important – giving young players the opportunity to develop, make friends, create memories and most importantly have fun.

We hope everyone enjoyed the day as much as we did.
