🚀 Big News: Our New Development Session is Growing!

​Wow, you blew us away with the response! Because the new development session is so incredibly popular, we are splitting it into two separate groups to make sure everyone gets the absolute most out of it.

​Here is the updated schedule:
​Years 1 & 2: 5:30 PM – 6:20 PM
​Years 3 & 4: 6:20 PM – 7:20 PM

These are rough age groups as we can assess your ability and see where you are best suited to improve your skills.

​📋 All the extra details are right there on the poster. If you have any questions or just want to chat about the sessions, give Luke a shout!

⚽ Exciting News from Willington Youth Football Club! ⚽ one family, blue and white army 💙🤍

Due to the incredible growth of our club and an ever-increasing waiting list, we are delighted to announce the launch of additional training sessions to welcome even more young players into our football family.

This expansion has been made possible thanks to the fantastic support of , who have helped us purchase new equipment and kits. Their support has enabled us to create opportunities for 52 new children to access training sessions within the club and for the first time in years reduce our waiting list.

Without this funding, we would have been unable to provide the essential equipment and kits needed to ensure equal opportunities for all children, regardless of their background. We are extremely grateful for their investment in our young people and our community.

Support Willington Youth Blues on their first ever trip to Blackpool for the Blackpool Tournament!

The lads are officially leaving County Durham and heading to the bright lights of Blackpool… poor Blackpool doesn’t know what’s about to hit it. 😂

NEW SESSION CALLING ALL 3 YEAR OLDS

Due to lots of enquiries over the years, Willington Youth Football Club are pleased to finally be introducing a new session for our youngest age group ⚽
We’re launching a trial session for 3-year-olds:
📅 Tuesdays
⏰ 6:30pm – 7:00pm
💷 £4 per session
This will be a fun, relaxed 30-minute session focused on basic skills, movement and enjoyment of football.
This time slot is just for the trial period – if we get enough children attending, we’ll look to move it to a more suitable time for everyone.

What a fantastic day for our club! ⚽️❤️ our first 3v3 tournament
We couldn’t be prouder of every single child who stepped onto that pitch today for some their first ever competitive tournament. Playing against teams a year older — and for some, even two years older — they were absolutely incredible.
They came together brilliantly, supporting teammates they don’t always play alongside, showing great teamwork, determination, and spirit from start to finish. Every single player gave it their all and, even better, every player got on the scoresheet! ⚽️⚽️⚽️
A massive well done to them all — you represented the club so proudly, and we can’t wait for the next one!
A huge thank you as well to all the parents and helpers for your support today, it’s always so appreciated. 😊
