Please Support FlexGym 🙏🏽
This one is personal.
As a local lad, I’ve put everything into building FlexGym over the last two years. What started as a business has become something I’m incredibly proud of — a community of people who have supported me and believed in what I’m trying to build.
In just two years, I’ve invested an enormous amount of time, energy and hard work into FlexGym. I’m there constantly, working to improve the gym, support our members and create something that people genuinely want to be part of.
That’s why the proposed PureGym 24-hour operation at Holt Road Retail Park (RV/26/1715) concerns me so much.
I understand that competition is part of running a business. But for a small, independent gym that has worked incredibly hard to establish itself, the arrival of a major national chain with a 24/7 operation could have a significant impact.
We don’t have the backing of a huge corporation. We have our members, our community and the people who have supported FlexGym from the beginning.
I’m incredibly grateful for the support we’ve already received, and I’m asking anyone who believes in supporting independent local businesses to please make their voice heard.
