Congratulations to Iain Mackenzie, David Simpson, Callum McGuigan, Martin Cooper, Greig Stewart and Rory Stewart on winning this year’s Queen Elizabeth Coronation Schools Tournament.

Representing Crieff High FPs, the team was made up of five current Crieff Golf Club Members and one former.

Playing scratch foursomes over three days at The Royal Burgess, the team made a fantastic start by beating the defending champions 2-1, before also defeating last year’s runners-up, Glasgow Accies.

Continued strong performances saw them defeat Kelvinside and Shrewsbury securing them a place in the Final. Crieff would claim victory by defeating Merchiston FPs in the final 3-0, a team who have won the event multiple times before!

We still have a few spaces available for our final open event of the season, the Open 2 Person Texas Scramble on Sunday 11th October.

Played on the Ferntower course, it is open to both men and women, with pairs costing £60 (£30 per person). It is always a fantastic, fun team event and a great way to round out the competitive year with us at Crieff.

Tee times are still open across the morning and afternoon, so grab a partner and get your entry secured before it fills up.

We are hiring! ⛳️

Allan Knox and the team at Crieff Golf Club are looking for an enthusiastic PGA Professional or PGA Trainee/Assistant to join the shop team from mid-October.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone passionate about coaching, custom fitting, and delivering great customer service to develop their career at a busy, friendly club. The role offers seasonal hours in the pro shop alongside plenty of scope to build your own coaching portfolio and work with golfers of all ages and skill levels.

If you are motivated and keen to help golfers get the most out of their game, Allan would love to hear from you.
