Starting 2nd July, I'm launching a new 4-week strength training course designed specifically for mums who want to feel stronger, fitter and more confident.
Whether this is your first time returning to exercise postpartum, or you're already on your fitness journey in motherhood, these sessions will help you build strength, improve fitness and carve out some time for yourself each week.

• 45-minute coached sessions
• Suitable for all fitness levels
• Babies welcome (pre-walking babies only)
• Supportive and friendly environment

The toughest session of 2026.

Big treadmill interval session today and definitely the toughest one of the year so far.

One of those sessions where you’re fully locked in, pushing the pace and seeing what you’ve really got when it starts to hurt.

These are the sessions that build confidence. Hard work in, now looking forward to testing myself and seeing where the fitness is at 👊

Training means something different to me these days
Yes, I still love racing and pushing myself.

But a big reason I train now is for them.

To set an example. To show consistency. To prove that even when you don’t feel like it, you still turn up.
Because the habits they see matter more than the words we say.

And truthfully… I still need it for my own head too.

Most people think getting fitter means training hard every day.

It doesn’t.

The best progress comes from consistency.
Easy days easy. Hard days hard. Recover properly.
That’s how you stay injury free and keep improving.

Instagram vs Reality.

Thought I was being organised. Turned up ready to run…
No running shoes.

Had the internal debate: “Take it as a sign?” “Go for a coffee instead?” “Surely sliders count?”
Drove home. Got them.

Then remembered the session was: 15km over & under marathon pace efforts 😐

Run done. Glad I did it. Actually loved it.
Funny how the sessions you nearly skip are often the ones you enjoy most.

Want a better race day?

Stop making this pacing mistake…

Starting TOO FAST.

You feel amazing at the start. The crowd is buzzing. Adrenaline is high.

But if you go out too hard, it nearly always catches up with you later.

Here’s a simple race day pacing strategy:

1. Start controlled
2. Settle into rhythm
3. Stay patient
4. Fuel and hydrate
5. Finish strong

Most runners don’t struggle because they’re unfit.

They struggle because they paced it wrong.

You don’t need motivation.

You need a plan.

Because motivation disappears when:

• It’s raining
• You’re tired from work
• The kids kept you up all night
• Your legs feel heavy

That’s where structure wins.

The people who improve aren’t the most talented.

They’re the ones who keep showing up — even when they don’t feel like it.

Some days you’ll feel amazing.
Some days you’ll feel rubbish.

Do the session anyway.

A 6/10 effort consistently beats a “start again Monday” mindset.

Small wins. Every week.

That’s how progress happens.

Running doesn’t have to be complicated.

You don’t need to smash every session.
You don’t need to run every day.
You don’t need to guess what to do next.

You need a plan that fits your life, the right mix of easy runs, tempo work and progression — and someone keeping you accountable.
