☀ HEAT & HYDRATION 🫗
With the current high temperatures we wanted to reassure all members that we will be taking extra precautions to ensure your safety whilst in classes.
We are lucky enough to have air conditioning available at both The Pavilion and The Hub, we will aim to cool rooms as much as possible. Both venues also have access to the kitchen areas so please ensure you fill up water bottles as needed - hydration is key to staying safe in hot weather. We will also be adapting classes to a lower intensity, removing cardio elements where appropriate and offering extra breaks throughout.
Finally, we urge everyone to make decisions on whether you are fit and well enough to attend classes based on your own current condition - do not push yourselves to attend if you are feeling unwell, faint or dizzy - this is always true but should be given extra importance during periods of extreme heat. Also, always let the instructor know if you become unwell during class and stop immediately should you need to.
