Just a reminder peeps rivers open next week. We still have stoke sub hamdon club tickets for sale in our shop giving holders who purchase their ticket here a lovely 10% discount on bait and tackle. Our previous rant was nothing to do with stoke club they are a very friendly bunch.

Ok rant time. A while ago I was approached by a member of a local angling club to discuss a members discount on bait if they used our shop. I agreed and also offered to deliver pre ordered bait on match days. This was not agreed. It seemed somebody has given wrong information to certain members. I have been getting calls and messages at stupid times of the night like 4.30 a.m Sunday asking me to deliver a pint of maggots to the resy. Lots of times on different numbers. Therefore it is with regret that the 10% discount available on tackle and bait has now been removed. Sorry to all you genuine members but once again the minority has spoilt it for the majority.

Hi guys and girls. Just a reminder the rivers open soon. Se are selling the stoke sub hamdon angling club licences. All members get 5% discount in our shop but if you purchase your licence from us you will get 10% on bait and tackle. Good luck and tight lines from the team at Gone fishing.

What beautiful weather!!!! Reports of mackerel being beached, carp finished spawning, canals showing great fish! Time to pop in and stock up on all your tackle and bait. We have live, frozen and lots of end tackle. Remember, we are open 6 days a week til 4pm
