What lovely weather we had for the Australian Pairs Competition at SJBC and a great day of bowling. Winners Mike & Brian seen here with the Nan Austin Memorial Trophy. Well done Sona and the team for putting on such a fun day.

"18 hardy bowlers took part in the Spring Bowls Social on Friday 17th April. It was a little wet underfoot, but great fun was had.
Team Crocus won against the Daffodils. After the match we had nibbles and drinks and a good old chat.
My thanks to everyone who signed up and turned up. Here's to the next one "

Well it has begun, the much awaited start to the bowls season. Despite the uncertainty of weather related issues the day turned out to be very successful with the Captain’s team defeating the Presidents. The green bowled very well and I think everyone enjoyed the day. Well done to the organisers and the of course the Green team.

Building a community in sport at Severalls Jubilee Bowls Club.
Bowls is about so much more than the game, it’s about community. Bringing people together, building friendships, and creating a space where everyone feels welcome. We love getting all ages involved, from beginners to experienced players, because bowls is a sport for everyone.
At our club we offer social as well as playing membership and have a good coaching setup with fully qualified coaches.
As the new bowling season is fast approaching it is a good time to think about starting a new chapter in your life, come on and give it a go.
