With two of the local leagues already finished...here's the second of our spotlights on the 2026 season...

SOUTH CHESHIRE LEAGUE.. Unfortunately due to teams dropping out, this league was finished in a shorter than usual timescale. If you are another club reading this and fancy joining in next year I am sure Marian Edmondson would love to hear from you

☆ Our A team captained by Jackie Robinson were just pipped at the post by Audlem but finished in 2nd place winning all 12 of their matches 🙂 a great result for all involved.

☆ Steve Mickles B team finished the season in 5th place..well done to all

With two of the local leagues already finished...here's the first of our spotlights on the 2026 season...

HOLMES CHAPEL LEAGUE.. With a shorter season this year due to reduced teams, this league finished a few weeks ago. Our club doing very well in all divisions.

☆ Our A team captained by Alan Powell were just pipped at the post by Coronation A, but finished in 2nd place in Division 1 🙂 a great result in a tough group 🙂🙂

☆ Ian Lewseys B team also managed 2nd place in Division 2..well done to all 🙂

☆ Our C team under the captaincy of Karen Thomas finished in 4th position in Division 3 ..well done everyone 🙂

☆ This year we formed a new D team so that our new members could have a taster of competitive bowls. With Keith Till at the helm, this new team have done fantastic and I know you all enjoyed it. Great job finishing 7th in your Division 🙂🙂

Massive congratulations to David Thomas and his Sandbach League B Team who have finished the season at the top of division 4 and are promoted to the 3rd division for 2027 🏆A great effort from all the players..well done to all the team🙂
