** Extreme Heat Notice **

Please take appropriate precautions to ensure safe play for all bowlers and spectators. With the high temperatures, the following measures must be considered:

- Clubs must provide water for all players, so please ensure away greens are able to do this.

- A drinks break is advisable to be taken at least every 15-20 minutes during games.

- Players are encouraged to remain in shaded areas where possible before and after matches.

- If players feel unable to participate due to the conditions, captains should arrange suitable replacements.

It is everyone’s responsibility to look after one another in these conditions.

Snooker playing club members..please read...

You may have noticed a small rip in one of our snooker table cloths, which may have been caused by someone using a cue with no tip. Unfortunately no one has come forward to say that they have accidentally damaged it but after checking the club cues we have discovered and disposed of a couple of old cues.

After obtaining a price to have it repaired, your club committee have decided it was not cost effective as the cloths would soon be due for replacement.

We have therefore arranged to have both tables recovered for you 😊 This will be done on Wednesday 1st July ...so obviously the tables will be closed on that day. The contractor hopes to have them done in the one day, but we will let you know if this runs over.

This is at great expense to the club, so we ask you to please take extra care when playing so that the cloths stay in good condition for all our snooker players to enjoy.
