Heavy squats.✅️
Big deadlifts.✅️
Bench PBs.✅️

But if your body can’t control movement properly first, you’re building strength on dysfunction.

Corrective exercises might not look exciting online 😬

But they’re often the difference between:
✔️ Progress vs plateau
✔️ Strong movement vs compensation
✔️ Long-term results vs recurring injuries

Corrective work matters before compound lifts as:

-Improves joint stability
-Activates muscles that are “switched off”
-Improves mobility and movement quality
-Reduces compensation patterns
-Helps you lift with better technique
-Builds a stronger, safer foundation

You don’t build a house on weak foundations
So why build strength on poor movement?

Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is start at the beginning, like this NEW client has....

I know what they are getting at, but my point is a point non PT people think about.

We all have lives outside of the gym, those that dont can spend endless hours pursuing their physique.

Some have one, two or three jobs, kids and family life to run on top of endless programmes, check ins etc to do to make sure clients get the best results!

Thats self sacrifice!
