❤️ A Farewell to Two Steamers

After an incredible victory in our final Midweek Division 1 T20 match, we also bid farewell to two incredible players, Robin and Amal

Robin has been phenomenal over the last five years, ever since the formation of Steamers CC. As one of our core committee members, he has worked tirelessly behind the scenes, contacting teams across the UK, arranging fixtures, and helping us participate in tournaments that have contributed to the club’s growth. We’ve shared countless laughs, arguments, celebrations, and unforgettable memories together while representing both Steamers CC & Cholmondeley CC -league games@cholmondeley_castle_cricket . On the field, Robin has consistently delivered match-winning spells and has been a dependable teammate throughout the years. His contribution to the club goes far beyond the scorebook.

Over the last two and a half seasons, Amal—our very own OLI—has been exceptional. Always smiling, humble, and down to earth, he has been the definition of a true team player. Whether selected in the playing XI or not, Amal was always there to support the team by fielding, umpiring, scoring, and helping in every possible way. Off the field, he is one of the calmest and kindest people you’ll ever meet. But once he has the ball in hand, his deadly inswingers and outswingers make him a completely different player.

On behalf of everyone at Steamers CC and Cholmondeley CC, we would like to thank Robin and Amal for everything they have done for our clubs. We wish you both every success in your next chapter in Australia 🇦🇺 and India 🇮🇳 .Remember—you will always be part of the family. 💚🏏
