The aim of this sanctuary is to bring together a number of teachers/instructors to use their talents and expertise in classes encompassing all quiet varieties – Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, Meditation, and much more. In turn bringing awareness to the community – a taste of different styles, levels, teachers, at different times of the day, so that there will ultimately be “something suitable for everybody”.

Our next workshop is all about mudras and Ayurveda.

Mudras are hand gestures or seals/locks that are used in yoga to stimulate different parts of the body and to affect the flow of energy.

This 3 hour workshop with will explore all about mudras and how they connect with Ayurveda.

If you think that you don't have the strength, flexibility or stamina to join our Summer Solstice Celebration this Sunday, think again! Here are three different variations of sun salutations that make it possible for anyone to join!

With live music from to keep us all going during the 108, and a signing bowl sound bath with to ground everyone afterwards, this will be such a beautiful practice to take part in.

Calling people who are currently experiencing symptoms of menopause or peri-menopause.

Our Kundalini Yoga teacher Noah is looking for anyone interested in signing up for the second round of the kundalini yoga for menopause research study.

The programme starts on 15th or 17th July for 8-weeks...if you are interested please get in touch directly with Noah at [email protected]

What’s Involved?
- One 90 minute class per week for eight weeks
- Attendance at a minimum of 6 sessions
- A few short wellbeing questionnaires before and after the programme
- Optional opportunity to join a small focus group at the end

Classes will be either on Wednesdays 6.30am to 8am Fridays 7.30am to 9am. You will choose either Wednesday or Friday based on your availability and commit to that day for the full eight weeks.

The programme runs on an anonymous donation basis, with proceeds going to charity. You are welcome to contribute whatever feels manageable for you. Donations are for the full programme (not per session) and payable in cash.

Open Mind Café will be closed for the next two weeks.

We will miss these two a great deal (and the coffee & cakes!), but Monika and Piotr are taking a well deserved holiday and heading to Poland to visit family.

Today is their last day so get your blueberry muffins while you can!

They will reopen on Tuesday 30th June.

It is with a great deal of sadness to let you know that Claire Bear Claire Bear @ Kula Yoga will be leaving MoY at the end of the month.

She's been teaching here since she qualified with us back in 2018, and is a true member of the MoY family. She's taught lots of different classes...Yoga for All, Dynamic Flow, Yin Yang Yoga, Lunchtime yoga, Mobility Flow to name a few and we've seen her grow into a quite brilliant teacher.

The time, energy and dedication she puts into her own development has been fantastic to see, and it comes across in all her classes. She's put a smile on so many of our faces over the years and will continue to do so for many years to come in her own classes, events & retreats.

She will always be welcome back with open arms and we hope this won't be the last time we see her on the Ananda studio stage.

Her last class teaching Mobility Flow will be on Friday 26th June at 9.30am so come along to say goodbye and get one more dose of that wonder Bear energy!

Shelley will be taking over the class from July with guest appearances from Lucy, another MoY/Tribe Yoga graduate.
