Cheshire Hornets Basketball Club Cheshire Hornets is a local league basketball club, competing across the Manchester Area Basketball League (MABL).

Practice is on Wednesday evenings (subject to match activities), and is open to all ages (16+) and abilities.

Double Success for Cheshire Hornets Basketball Team
Cheshire Hornets 1st team have had a record breaking season in the Manchester Area Basketball League. Hornets secured the League title by winning 14 of their 16 games and went through to the Play Offs last weekend where they had to overcome talented Canute Basketball Club on Saturday and then face Preston Basketball Club in the final. Hornets raced to an early lead and hung on in the final quarter to record the double, a feat never before achieved in their 40 years existence. Dany Saidi was named Play Off MVP but this was truely a magnificent team effort, guided by Coach Pete Lee.

Hornets 1st team will now be promoted to the Premier league and Hornets 2nd team will continue to play in the First division.
New players are always welcome regardless of experience. Hornets train through the year and offer opportunities to all.
