Today's MOTM was a tough choice due to so many incredible performances. But Rhys Baird was a rock in CDM.

He always won his tackles, organised the team and was calm on the ball as per usual.

What a win for the Hurricanes today...

It was a great performance in the first half, a lot of great passing and passages of play. Morgan Weston opened the scoring with a great, composed finish, and we were unlucky to go in at half-time 1-1.

Going into the second half, Williston came out on the stronger side, finding themselves ahead at 3-1. After making a couple of changes to freshen up the side, Jordan Wilde assisted a goal for Liam Wells and then went on to equalise. HCH continued to press and push for the winning goal until the pressure mounted for Williston when they turned the ball into their own net in the dying moments of the game.

The Holmes Chapel Hurricanes are seeking to recruit new players to enhance our squad depth.

An unlucky loss for the Hurricanes today...

For the first half of the game, both teams were battling hard for possession, leaving the halftime score at 1-1. The Hurricanes kept possession, created a lot of chances, and worked well as a team.

Our goal came from our striker Jordan Wilde taking the ball into the corner and crossing into the box, ready for Ben Susca to finish his first goal for the club!

Unfortunately, in the second half, conditions got worse, which made it harder for us to keep possession and control of the game. We also had to make some changes to our shape and game due to injury. As a result of this, we lost momentum and allowed some messy goals, resulting in our loss.

We go again in our next league game in 2 weeks' time.
