First Game of season 2026🖤🧡

FULL TIME RESULT Comrades Fc 5️⃣-2️⃣Baslow Fc

Great start to the season for the lads!

First half we played some good football going forward, our first goal came when Owen Smith slotted home from close range to put us in front.

Baslow equalised not long after with some miss communication with our players not being switched on.

10 minutes before half time we struck again with Sam Pickstone giving us the lead once again. Just 2 minutes before half time, Baslow equalised yet again with another sloppy mistake at the back.

HALF TIME RESULTS 2️⃣-2️⃣

Onto the second half we kept our composure and carried on with some great attacking football. The ball then fell to Jordan Humphrey on the edge of the box, for him to scream one into the roof of the net.

The boys kept pushing and pushy with plenty more opportunities, a corner came in from Joe Major which landed perfectly on Piotr’s head for him to make it 4️⃣- 2️⃣.

Finally the best worked goal of the game 10 minutes before the end, when Luke Harris played a ball down the line to Aaron Norman. Which they both linked up perfectly with Luke Harris overlapping and smashing home to make a well deserved 5️⃣ -2️⃣ win!

Onto the next one lads!! Up the Raids🧡🖤
