💛Eddie McCulloch 🖤

On Saturday all at Creetown Football Club were extremely saddened to learn of the death of ‘wee Eddie’.

A mainstay over the years at Castle Cary either playing, watching the team or helping Eck with work around the park until the past year or so as he struggled with ill health.

The word legend gets banded around football a lot, but Eddie truly was a Creetown FC legend who will be greatly missed by us all at the club.

We all appreciate the service Eddie gave to the club over the years and our thoughts go out to all of his family💛🖤

🟡⚫ Management Team Continue for 2026/27 ⚫🟡

Creetown FC are delighted to confirm that Martin McCaulay will continue as First Team Manager for the 2026/27 season. 👏

Martin will be supported by Michael Houston, Mark Whorlow and Kenny Faulds as part of the management team.

We would also like to welcome Michael Houston to the club. Michael joins us following a short break from football after enjoying a successful spell at Newton Stewart, and everyone at Creetown FC is looking forward to working with him. 🤝⚽

The club is excited to continue building for the new season. 💛🖤

Everyone at Creetown FC would like to thank Keir Halliday and Mark Thomson as they move on to new opportunities, and we wish them both every success in the future. 👏

Manager Martin McCaulay would like to place on record his appreciation for the effort and commitment shown by Keir during his two years at the club, where he was deservedly recognised as Young Player of the Year last season 🏆⚽

The club would also like to thank Mark Thomson, who joined for the final six months of last season and provided strong competition for the No.1 jersey throughout his time with us. 🧤

It has been a pleasure working with both players, and we thank them for their contribution to the club. 💛🖤
