On Thursday evening, Toby Newstead walked some of his fellow Directors through the latest progress at the Creedy Bridge site. It was hugely encouraging for all to see how far the project has moved in recent weeks.

๐Ÿ‰ The drainage will be going in on Pitch 2 in the next couple of weeks, ahead of it being seeded later in the month, only slightly delayed by the long hot summer. Pitch 4 has been marked out with posts erected. Although Pitch 4 has not been drained, it will still provide valuable training and development space for players across the club and will play an important role in expanding our capacity.

๐Ÿš— The new car park is ready for use, and services have been laid across the site, ensuring that future phases of the development can move forward smoothly when the time comes.

๐Ÿ™ A massive thank you goes to Toby for his tireless work and leadership in driving this exciting phase of the clubโ€™s history. His commitment has been instrumental in turning long term plans into visible, tangible progress.

A few shots from this afternoonโ€™s encounter between the ๐—–๐—ข๐—Ÿ๐—ง๐—ฆ ๐—ซ๐—ฉ and Exeter School. It proved a challenging opening runโ€‘out for the lads, but there were plenty of positives to take from the performance - moments of real intent, some sharp individual efforts, and a clear sense of what can be built on in the weeks ahead.

Always a tough opener against Exeter School UK but, despite the scoreline, the Colts XV battled hard on the AGP at Ivybridge RFC

Exeter School came out on top 55 v 5 but, more important than the result was the opportunity to get out and play some rugby!

Tomorrow sees the annual ๐—–๐—ผ๐—น๐˜๐˜€ ๐—ซ๐—ฉ v Exeter School fixture - a tradition stretching back well over 30 years. In a break from the usual Tuesday night slot, this yearโ€™s game takes place on Saturday.

Originally due to be played at Exeter School, the match has been moved to the Artificial Grass Pitch at Ivybridge after risk assessments deemed the grass pitches at both the school and Blagdon unplayable.

Decent first run out for the 2s against in what was a close and hard fought pre-season friendly.

Sarries clinched a 27 v 31 win in a game which had plenty of positives and learning for both squads.

A really good turnout on the touchline too - itโ€™s been a long wait!
