Pevensey 0–7 Crawley Down 💙💛
Our U16s put in a great perfomance today away to Pevensey, coming away with a 0-7 win. A really enjoyable game to watch from start to finish.
We played some fantastic football, with great communication all over the pitch, from the back right through to the front. Despite the thick grass and the hot conditions, we moved the ball really well, worked incredibly hard for each other, and everyone put in a huge shift.
Before the game we asked the girls to mix up their play – knowing when to go long but also having the confidence to keep the ball and play through the thirds when the opportunity was there. They executed the game plan brilliantly, and as coaches we couldn’t ask for much more. There were some outstanding team moves and some fantastic goals to top it off.
