🏏 Finals Day 2026 🏏
It wasn't the result we were hoping for, but what a day for Corvedale CC.
We bowed out in the semi-final, but we can honestly say it was one of the most entertaining games of the day. We came into the competition as underdogs, battled our way into the semi-finals, and gave absolutely everything right until the final ball. Every single player can be proud of the effort and commitment shown throughout the tournament.
A huge thank you to Stu, who kept everything running smoothly as our official scorer throughout the day. We'd also like to thank Ian Alderson for being a brilliant 12th man, always ready when called upon, and Cath for taking some fantastic photos that captured the day perfectly.
A special mention must also go to Ian D, who did a superb job leading the side as our Hundred captain. Thank you for all your hard work and leadership throughout the competition.
We'd also like to extend a huge thank you to Wellington Cricket Club for their fantastic hospitality throughout the day. The event was brilliantly organised, the facilities were excellent, and everyone made us feel incredibly welcome. It was a pleasure to be part of such a great day of cricket.
