Like Tai Chi, Qigong has its roots in ancient China. Comprising similarly slow, gentle, smooth movements, Qigong is designed to relax you and reduce stress, while enhancing the flow of your Qi (your life-force energy). Regular practice can also help you improve your balance, coordination and mobility. The exercises can be done sitting or standing, depending on your physical capacity, making Qigong ideal for all ages (over 18s only).

Classes are on Wednesday mornings 10:30 to 11:30 at the Methodist Church Hall, 10 Corvedale Road, Craven Arms, Shropshire SY7 9ND. So, if you would like to book a free taster class or would like any more information, please get in touch or see my website:

A Foundational Qigong Seminar for Beginners – Cultivate Relaxation & Wellbeing

I’m running a Qigong seminar on Saturday 17 February 2024 from 10:00 to 12:30 & 14:00 to 16:30 (1.5-hour lunch break) at Ludlow Mascall Centre, Lower Galdeford, Ludlow SY8 1RZ.

One-day seminar in Foundational Qigong!

Perfect for beginners, the seminar will be in Ludlow Shropshire in February 2024. For five hours, you'll be able to immerse yourself in these gentle movements and practices, designed to release tension and move into circularity, improving blood and qi flow, getting your mind into your body and learning how to breathe better.

I'm pleased to let you know about new weekly classes in Foundational Qigong at the Viables Community Centre in Basingstoke. These will be under the guidance of Beth Durling, who has studied Qigong with me since 2016. She has now certified as a Level 1 Provisional Instructor in Foundational Qigong at the recent instructor training in London with Senior Energy Arts Instructor, Paul Cavel. Class Times are Fridays 11:30 to 12:30, and classes start on Friday 7 July 2023. Your first class is free, then it's only £5 a class.

I currently have some spaces available in my Qigong classes for beginners in Craven Arms, Shropshire. If you like the idea of gentle exercises to increase your balance, flexibility and coordination, while relaxing, increasing the flow of your energy (qi or chi) and opening up your body, Qigong could be what you’re looking for.
Qigong is for everybody, whatever your current state of health, degree of mobility or age (over 18). You’re welcome to come along for a free taster class to learn more about qigong and its health benefits.
We’re at the Methodist Church Hall, 10 Corvedale Road, Craven Arms SY7 9ND on Wednesdays 10:00-11:00. Your first class is free. After that, you’ll be invited to book for eight classes for £50 to be taken within 10 weeks.

Just back from leading a couple of sessions at the amazing EarthSpirit Healing Retreat near Glastonbury. Introduced a great group of people to Dragon and Tiger Qigong with some components from the Dragon & Tiger Meet exercise, all watched over by a very Celtic-looking dragon. Second day was jumping into the mouth of the dragon, taking the mind into the body with sinking chi exercises and an intro to basic outer dissolving. Thanks for the invite Janet O’Carroll.
