Answering some of your most frequently asked questions about PowerHIIT Pilates:

1. Do I need to be fit to join your class?
No, not at all! My classes are designed with beginners in mind. The classes are all about building strength and confidence at your own pace. Whether you’re just starting your fitness journey or getting back into it, this class is perfect for you.

2. I haven’t exercised in a while—will I be able to keep up?
Absolutely! The classes are aimed at people who may be new to exercise or haven’t worked out in a while. Every movement can be modified to suit your current fitness level, so you’ll feel comfortable and supported no matter where you’re starting from.

3. Will I be the only beginner?
Not at all. Many participants are in the same position, just getting started or wanting a gentler reintroduction to fitness. The environment is supportive and encouraging, and everyone is here for their own journey.

4. What can I expect from a class?
Classes combine gentle but effective Pilates moves with light, low-impact strength exercises. Each session is designed to be accessible and enjoyable, with clear instructions and modifications to fit all fitness levels.

5. I’m over 30—will I feel out of place?
My classes are specifically designed for women over 30. I understand the unique needs and goals of this group, and I focus on exercises that build functional strength and flexibility in a safe and supportive environment.

6. How intense is the HIIT part?
The HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) part is customized for beginners, so you won’t feel overwhelmed. Each exercise can be modified, or made low impact and you control the pace. The focus is on making fitness fun and accessible, not intimidating!

This is always such a busy time of year and I always find health and fitness naturally comes lower down on my priority list in November and December.

So if you only have time for one hour of exercise this week?

Firstly don't feel guilty. Instead, make sure that one hour of exercise really counts. If you have limited time, the most effective exercise you can do is a combination of strength training and high intensity interval training. This is why I've designed PowerHIIT Pilates to cover all your fitness needs in one class.
