FiA UK South East Free workouts for women. Cranleigh - Sundays (6:30am) and Tuesdays (5:45am) and Billingshurst on Fridays (5:45am). Welcome!

FiA are a community of women dedicated to making each other stronger through activities that include bodies, minds, and hearts. We are the UK's first FiA (Females in Action) group! We're a fun and friendly community offering peer-led workouts for ALL women and those identifying as women. We organise FREE, peer-led workouts each week. Workouts are held outdoors come rain or shine, hot or cold. We c

urrently meet 6:30am every Sunday and 6:00am Tuesday in Cranleigh and 6:00am Fridays in Alfold. As we grow as a community we will offer more sessions in more locations. We are not just a workout group, but a community of women dedicated to making each other stronger in all areas of our lives and to bettering ourselves for our families, workplaces and communities.

What a jam packed few weeks!
We just started enjoying the BDs in the warm sunshine and then the rain came back. We have had lots of brilliant qing over the last few weeks. Thank you to all the Qs who make it possible by giving up there time to lead. We also had 8 of our ladies go on a Fia holiday. The ladies set off to Bilbao in spain. They visited the Guggenheim museum, the took a ride on the funicular, visited the beach and rode on the clogate transporter bridge (Viper and Early bird walked along the top of it)
We also may have found the best icecream place ever.
This may have been the 1st Fia holiday but definitely won't be the last.

Its been a busy couple of weeks. We have had lots of Bds lead by Supernova as she is off on her travels soon! We also had Bea lead a fantastic session with running drills squats the lot.
We had Early Bird hopping us around for Easter!
With Matilda throwing in Hip hurdles, standing dead bugs and all sorts of exercises.
On Sunday the 12th of April Viper and Star headed to London to take on the London landmarks half marathon with crowd support from Supernova, both of them got PBs.
Next big event for our FiA ladies is the Full London marathon for Finch and Oracle.

This week we started off on Tuesday with Winger putting us through our paces, which including closing our eyes doing some of the exercises.
Friday was Impala’s turn with her telling us to do 50 reps when she actually ment 100. We got hot and ditched the coats quickly.
Sunday was Supernova’s turn using exercises to spell out spring forward. With the clocks going forwarding it was a bit of a shock but well done Ladies for turning up!

This week at FiA southeast... Viper started off the week with a hard Beatdown, it involved a 10kg sandbag timer setting the pace for the rest of the Ladies who were doing the exercises asked. Then on Friday in Billingshurst Oracle had the Ladies doing lots of different exercises from stretching to weights. Sunday saw Nala Q with Amrap rounds counting down from 100 of an exercise to 10. Sunday also saw Oracle and Star take on the Richmond riverside spring half marathon both getting PB's on a nice flat course.

This week we saw BD from Oracle who's BD was about spring awakening, a VQ from Steel which involved Straws and was an excellent VQ! Then Stars was an all body work out!
Last Saturday 6 of our Ladies did the Chichester harbour half marathon and absolutely ran there hearts out. Well done FiA.

A couple of weeks of soggy and and a couple of dry but chilly, beat downs (workouts) led by a VQ (virgin lead) from Bea (well done!), Supernova, Winger, Forrest, Oracle, Matilda & EarlyBird. Dare I say it, there’s a hint of daylight coming through now!

We also had a ‘Girl Power’ Friday night out in Woking on the 6th.

Celebrating Matilda & Labrynth reaching 100 beat downs and Star getting to 300, dedication right there!

We’re here whatever the weather for and exercise and friendship, come and see for yourself!

The theme of the last week has been rain, more rain and storms.

A Q from Viper with a Taylor Swift theme during Storm Chandra might go down as the worst weather we’ve ever dealt with, strong wind turbocharging rain into faces and a car park that resembled the sea, but 8 hardcore ladies still turned up for each other and persevered to the bitter end!

Friday saw more rain with Star at the helm and a very damp Sunday was led by Joy (slightly reduced numbers due to some ladies ‘overdoing’ it a little on the Saturday Tay Tay night out)!

Guess what? It’s raining this week too with another wet and windy workout this morning with Oracle on Q. We’re not sugarlumps 😀

The rain came and we still turned up for each other in the morning! Q’s from Oracle, Matilda, Star, Winger and an excellent VQ from Greenfingers in Billingshurst this Friday, well done!. We welcomed two more FNGs in Cranleigh and Supernova reached her 300th BD. Keep it up ladies….

We have had another week of chilly workouts and celebrating this week with Impala, Nala & Oracle taking charge and a friendly new girl on Sunday who came for the workout and the 10 mile run after!

Today we had a triple celebration, FiA Nation’s 13th birthday 🎉, Star’s birthday 🥳 and not only did Oracle Q today, it was her 300th beat down, the most beat downs by any pax so far👏👏👏
