We have had a messsge from one of our local councillors regarding the road closure of Bedford Road in Cranfield. It may cause you a delay in getting to us for swimming so please leave more time.

RESURFACING WORK PLANNED FOR BEDFORD ROAD

I am pleased to report resurfacing work for Bedford Road in Cranfield is scheduled to take place between the 12th and 24rd of March. This is the good news. The bad news is, this will come with disruption, as the road will need to be closed to allow the works to take place. (Please note the dates are weather dependent and may change). I don't have any more details on the road closure at this stage.
I am glad that my frequent requests for resurfacing work to be done do seem to have finally paid off; with a shout out to our Highway Officer who has also been pressing for this work to be done. Hopefully the current dreadful state of the road will finally be addressed.
