We are delighted to be able to confirm the winter nets dates and times for 2026.
๐
Please can we ask that all players bring their own cricket ball and cricket equipment for hardball nets.
๐
With this in mind and the start of the season approaching, it is a really good time to check on your kit requirements and also to make sure you have a proper sized kit and a bat that is neither too big nor too heavy. Get this wrong and a playerโs development can be significantly curtailed.
๐
While we know that it is very tempting to buy kit on-line we strongly recommend that you take the time to visit Dom and Linda Bowen at in Southborough (TN4 0PJ) who are hugely knowledgeable and experienced in all things cricket & will give you as much time as is required to get your child kitted out properly at a cost that wonโt break the bank.
๐
You will receive a full email with all the dates and other details, but most importantly the schools have asked that we adhere to their strict safeguarding and external hire expectations.
๐
Failure to do this will risk losing the booking for the club, so for clarity:
๐
There can be no access allowed to facilities until the start of each session.
๐Parents are expected to drop their child at the Sports Hall and leave the site promptly.
๐There can be no spectators allowed onsite or in the Sports Hall.
๐Players will be brought out of the Sports Hall to the car park for collection at the end of their session.
๐
We are looking forward to seeing you all in January and if you have any questions regarding any of the above please donโt hesitate to get in touch via DM or email:
