We're delighted to report that the fireworks will be taking place tomorrow evening. Gates open at 6pm, fireworks at 7pm. Adults £6 and £4 for children 5+. Gate, bar and bbq, all cash only.

Unfortunately the field is too wet for cars so please park considerately on the road or walk down from the village.

FRITTENDEN FIREWORKS 2023
Saturday 4th November at Frittenden Cricket Club, Staplehurst Road. Gates open at 6pm.
Adults £6, U16s £4 and U5s Free. No advance tickets, just pay on the gate. Cash only please and if you can have the right change, that would be very helpful.
Bar, BBQ, soup and sparklers available*.
Parking available in the adjacent field unless the ground is too wet, in which case parking will be on the road.
*Please do not bring your own drink or sparklers to the event.

We are still optimistic that the firework display and bonfire can go ahead tomorrow evening as planned and are keeping a very close eye on the skies.

The gates will open at 6pm. Entry will be £6 for an adult (16+), £4 for a child (5 - 15) and free for children under 5.

Unfortunately we can't take cards at this event so payment is by cash only. We love 50p/£1/£2 coins and smaller notes as it speeds up transactions and helps to keep the queues down.

There will be a fully licenced bar, BBQ and hot soup available. Monster sparklers will be on sale from the bar and at the gate for £2 for a box of 5. Please note that our licence does not allow for any alcohol not bought at our bar to be consumed on site.

And finally, parking. We will be carrying out a ground check in the morning to establish whether the field can be used for parking. We don't want cars getting stuck or the field getting ruined. In the event that the ground is too wet to use the field, parking will be on the road. In this event, please park safely on one side of the road only and with consideration for other visitors to the event, and those who are trying to pass through.

The annual Nora Bearsby Cup will be taking place on bank holiday Monday, starting at 12 noon. The weather has promised to be good and there will be a bbq and bar. Please come along and spend a relaxing few hours watching the teams fight it out for this prestigious title.

With the cricket season kicking off at the club this weekend, all players, officials and supporters need to be aware of the ECB guidelines for play. They're pretty strict and obviously not what everyone wants their cricket to look like, but must be adhered to for the time being. The main points are:

- Standard Cricket Teas are suspended. Players and Officials should continue to "bring their own" supplies.

- Changing Rooms & Clubhouses are to remain closed (other than access to the loos)

- No spectators
