“There’s no hiding that it has been a challenging and transformational few months since my business partner (in crime) and father, Peter Bourne, passed away so suddenly. Although completely unexpected given his good health, we had in many ways been gearing up for this type of transition and torch passing, knowing that time is never on your side, and everyone and everything marches relentlessly forward.

He taught me everything I know and am currently working on, to step into his intimidatingly large and successful footsteps. Although it will never be the same, the challenge is there and cannot be avoided. He was a wonderful man, father and a friend to many individuals from the business and social world, and he will be missed hugely.

Since his passing, the business continues to grow and evolve as we take delivery of another batch of new vehicles, one of which marks his memory with the initials PJB.

A huge thanks to the wonderful staff across the Bourne Group who have rallied together and continue to break new ground in terms of service and expertise. And a heartfelt thank you to all of the messages and support from colleagues, clients, friends and family alike, it is part of life and we grow stronger through these shared experiences.” - Jonathan Bourne CEO

For this year’s “Wear It Pink” day, in support of Breast Cancer Now, the Bourne Group staff produced some beautiful and delicious cakes and bakes. Thank you for all your support.

Sports Fest 2024 is in full swing across Aldgate and Cheapside, with a fantastic calendar of sporting games happening across the city.

It was a Bourne Group team effort to construct a Beach Volleyball court at The Crescent, Tower Hill.
Bourne Amenity supplying Volleyball Sand, John Bourne & Co. providing the haulage, and Bourne Sport working together with SideOut Volleyball specialists on construction.
The court is still up over this coming Bank Holiday weekend and can be booked for play via

The 3-month Sports festival is brought to the city by Aldgate Connect, Cheapside Business Alliance and Central London Alliance, in partnership with the City of London Corporation.
