What a fantastic success Game Day 7 was! A huge thank you to all the teams who took part, as well as DSNI, the referees, table officials & our sponsors (some still to be highlighted) for their continued support and effort in making the day run so smoothly. The atmosphere, sportsmanship, and level of competition on display made it a truly enjoyable day for everyone involved.
Our first game saw us take on Storm WBC, where the Lakers came away with a strong 42–14 win. It was a great game overall—while the Lakers started off a little slow, they gradually found their rhythm and picked up the pace as the game went on, showing great teamwork and determination to secure the victory.
We then faced the Knights (KM) in what turned out to be a thrilling contest, with the Lakers winning 35–32. It was a tough, fast-paced game with both teams going basket for basket right until the final whistle. The intensity never dropped, but the Lakers dug deep, kept pushing, and ultimately came away with a well-earned win.🏀🏀
