We are the Oxford Brookes Women’s Rugby team,a fast-growing, competitive and ambitious squad .

Meet Eluned – a true Welsh warrior and a powerhouse on the pitch. You’d think she plays football the way she bends it like Beckham, but her heart is all rugby. With fierce talent and unshakable drive, Eluned brings energy, skill, and determination to every match. Off the pitch, she’s just as talented – especially when it comes to chopping a pint with style. We’re proud to have her as part of our rugby family in her new role as Talent and Development Officer. 🩷🩷

Course: physiotherapy
Rugby experience: 1 year
Strength: chopping a pint
Weakness: her knees
Fun fact: has a dog called rat

Meet Jess, our new Well-being officer!
Small in stature but a huge part of the team. She’s calm, kind, and always there when you need her, whether it’s a quiet check-in after a tough game or making sure everyone’s taken care of before kickoff. Known for going full glam on Thursdays (shoutout to her favourite club night), she somehow disappears every Christmas and is mysteriously unavailable on St. Patrick’s Day- we’ve stopped asking questions. Despite the sarcasm, we’d be lost without her. 🩷🩷

Strength: absolute lightweight
Weakness: absolute lightweight
Fun fact: gingers outnumbered blondes last year on the team 🫡

Meet our new media officer Grace aka Pickle- who’s got a real knack for landing herself in one. From showing up to a social as a cardboard fish to being famously accident-prone on and off the pitch, Grace brings top-tier chaos and enthusiasm. We’re excited to see what she delivers as our new Media Officer 🩷🐟
