29-year-old Natasha Lambert made history by sailing a 46-foot catamaran 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean using only her breath ⛵️💨

Born with cerebral palsy, Natasha cannot use her arms or legs, but her incredible determination inspired her dad to invent a custom sip-and-puff technology that lets her steer a yacht simply by inhaling and exhaling into a straw 🌊✨

With her brilliant mind in full command, Natasha became the first person ever to cross the Atlantic using this breath-controlled system, sailing all the way from Gran Canaria to Saint Lucia alongside her devoted family 🏝️🧭

Through their charity work at the Miss Isle School, the Isle of Wight native and her crew have helped countless other disabled young people experience the sheer thrill and independence of being out on the open sea ⛵️💙

Following the tragic loss of her mum Mandy, Natasha is preparing to cross the Atlantic once again alongside her dad and sister Rachel to honor her mum's memory and raise money for charity 🕊️❤️

Out on the waves, Natasha says all barriers disappear, giving her the complete freedom and liberty she loves 🎉🌊

We had a wonderful day yesterday presenting some very well deserved awards at the Pier 2 Pier swim.
Such a great event, we're thinking of taking part next year!

The ocean does not care about what our bodies can or cannot do...

On land, we build walls, we set limits, and we define people by their circumstances. But out here, on the open water, those boundaries vanish. The wind blows exactly the same for everyone and the sea demands the same respect from every skipper.

True equality isn’t something given to us, it is a space we claim. Natasha is living proof that freedom is not found in how we move our feet, but in where we dare to steer our minds.

When you believe in yourself, the word "impossible" becomes an incentive to do just that. If Tash can conquer the Atlantic using only her breath, What's holding you back from pushing your own boundaries? ⛵💙

Come sailing with us! (virtually!)

This will be our first expedition since our mum passed away in February.

It's going to be an emotional rollercoaster but we promised her we would keep exploring so that's exactly what we're going to do...

Sailing across the Atlantic in 2020 was the most incredible experience of our lives, this time it will be totally different without mum by our side but we are determined to live the life she wanted for us and to show the world what is possible.

Once we've crossed the Atlantic, we are hoping to carry on towards the Pacific. The world's largest ocean. It's an immense feat for anyone, let alone doing it in a wheelchair. There are loads of places in the world that aren't ready for my chair and we're going to find as many of them as possible! It's all part of the adventure!

This winter has been the toughest of our lives. We lost Mum exceptionally quickly to cancer, and for a while the horizon felt very dark. But Mum's final wish was that we keep sailing, keep exploring and keep showing the world what can be possible. So, that's exactly what we plan to do.

This November we will start where we left off... The Atlantic.

But this is more than just an ocean crossing, it's a tribute,

To Mum, who never gave up and made damn sure we won't either.

Arrived in Gran Canaria this morning at 7.30am, sailed 2500 miles across the Med from Greece, ready to take part in this years ARC plus in November .
