Anyone looking for a last minute ski holiday our timeshare apartment in Tignes Val Claret still has 2 weeks free. Week 1: 6-13 Jan, or week 2: 20-27th Jan. Flights to Grenoble, Chambery or Geneva, then either bus transfers or hire car up to the apartment. £250.00 per week, sleeps 4 in a small apartment with pool, sauna, gym and games room. I hope you all looking forward to the summer holidays! Lets hope the weather gets a bit better so that you can all practice your sea swimming! If it rains, you can always take the children to the swimming pool instead....so it's win win for swimming!
We're all looking forward to the break, but looking ahead to our new term in Autumn. This term starts on Tues 7th Sept 2015 and runs through to Friday 11th Dec 2015 (Excl half term w/b 26th Oct 2015). This course is 13 weeks long and fees are £94.00. I have spaces on Tuesdays at 3.30, and 4.30, Thursdays 4pm and 4.30pm and Fridays at 4pm, so let me know if you'd like any more info, calling or texting me on 07732 641125. Have a great safe summer. Hello everyone! I've had a great time teaching Sam's groups while he's been recovering from his op, but sadly for me he's back next Tuesday 10th. I've asked his sister Beth to stay on next week, just so the new children have a bit of continuity with her, and because she's great with the children it will be a real help to Sam while he gets back into his grove.
Regarding the changing rooms, I've had lots of positive feedback from parents and children, so it all seems to be going well.

UKSA have mentioned that the pool area is getting quite crowded and noisy during the changeover for our lessons. They've asked if we can trial a system where the children arriving for their 4pm, 4.30pm, 5pm or 5.30pm lessons can wait in the changing room until 5 minutes before their lesson is due to start. I've asked Ben and Jade the lifeguards to let you know when you can come in. This will mean there will be less people on poolside, and therefore less chance of any accidents. It also means that the children having their lesson don't get distracted by new groups arriving. Could you please also ensure that any children who aren't swimming do not go past the pool steps and are supervised at all times. Many thanks

Just to let you know that Sam is having an operation tomorrow (19th), and so won't be teaching for the next 2 weeks. I'll be teaching Sam's groups on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, assisted by Sam's sister Beth who's training to be a swimming Teacher. I'm really looking forward to seeing how everyone is progressing.

Hello there,
I hope you all enjoyed the festive season. We teachers had a lovely break, and are raring to get back into the pool! We've made lots of New Years resolutions, one of which is to get fitter and raise money for charity at the same time, so watch out for future posts to see if we keep them up!
We're soo excited about the new term starting next week (w/b 5th January 2015, though to w/b 23rd March (excluding half term 6th Feb)), and all for only £79! We still have a few spaces on Tuesdays 3.30 and 4pm and Thursdays and Fridays at 4pm, so drop me a line if you or anyone you know is interested in super swimming lessons. Looking forward to seeing you.

What a fab week! Such a great way to end the term with games, races and lots and lots of fun! This week was all about showing the children and their parents how much their water confidence has grown in the last 12 weeks of lessons. From walking the plank to floating on the stormy seas with Nic trying desperately to tip them off the floats! We hope you get a chance to go swimming over the holidays and look forward to seeing you next term. Our next term starts on week beginning 5th January 2015 and runs through to week beginning 23rd March 2015 (excluding half term week beginning 16th February 2015). This term is 11 weeks long. Nic, Sarah, Sam and I are loving being back at lessons, catching up on a great summer with our old swimmers, and meeting new ones. With Thursday and Friday slots all full, we only have space left on Tuesdays. It's always great to hear that some of the children have spent all summer counting the days until lessons start again! Some have been in the sea, and some swimming everyday while on holiday. We look forward to the next 11 weeks of FUN!
