We had a great time at Osborne Golf Club on Saturday at the long awaited return of the Bill Smart Salver (an annual contest between Osborne and Cowes). The course was in fantastic condition and we thouroughly enjoyed the competition and the company. Cowes came away with the trophy on this occasion - well played everybody and we look forward to hosting Osborne next year!

Congratulations to Rich and Denise Insley who won our annual Penguin / Phoenix Challenge Mixed 4BBB Stableford yesterday with 42pts!! We challenge our namesake Club - Phillip Island Golf Club, Australia every year on (or around) Anzac Day. This Year we averaged an incredible 40pts across the field! Wonder how they got on down under? 🇦🇺🇬🇧🐧🐦‍🔥

Some fantastic scoring in the final round of the Ron Ryder Medal (best 2 from 4 this year!) today! Well done Alfie Gubbins who carded a net 65 to take todays round AND the overall trophy with a 138 aggregate by 1 shot from Tom Rogers.

What a weekend!!! Congratulations to Dave Martin who ran away with the Mike Thomas Stableford on Sunday with 40 points! (where did you park your horse Dave?)...... AND Matt Hodder became the best player on the planet (even if only for a nano second!) when he his an ace on the 8th hole yesterday. AND our County 7s team were victorious agains Ryde GC on Saturday - well done boys!!
