A few simple poses from last week’s Slow Flow class at the exploring all things cervical spine, as we opened up and released tension in the neck and shoulders.
1. Seated Neck Rolls (hands under glutes)
2. Cat Cow with Tented Fingers
3. Puppy Pose with Prayer Hands
4. Bound Locust (look left and right)
5. Butterfly with Opposite Hand to Shoulder + Chin to Chest
Holding and softening into the last pose for a few minutes really helps open up and create space in the upper back and neck - it looks simple but it sneaks up on you!
