My novel has finally been published! A perfect Christmas gift for any reader from 11 to 111. A must read for young boxers!

My pen name is Nicky John. I cannot use Nick Griffin as it is the same name is the leader of the BNP!

Strength of the Lion, Cunning of the Fox is a brand new novel. One of the motives of the author, Nicky John is to encourage girls to take up boxing. Nicky John is the pen name of a very experienced boxing coach
Kayleigh Goodman has been repeatedly bullied in school. Even when she moves to a new secondary school to escape the bullying, a new gang of bullies, Natasha Harrison and her ‘crew’ begin to make Kayleigh’s life a misery. Whilst being chased by this gang of bullies she stumbles into a boxing gym. Terrified at first, she reluctantly stays in the gym and enjoys the training session.
She takes to the sport like a duck to water and she learns how to fight back. Eventually Kayleigh takes part in real boxing matches. Initially locally, then in Liverpool and in London, but can Kayleigh win a gold medal at the prestigious Harrington Box cup? Follow Kayleigh on her journey into boxing and see just how she learns to combat the bullies...

On Weds 16th November and Friday 18th nov we will be joking up with barbell for a skill swap. The first skill swap we will be joining barbell in the gym from 12:45-14:00. On Friday barbell will join us in studio 1 from 13:00-14:00.

University Boxing Sessions are officially starting at Royal Leamington Spa ABC!

It will be £4 for each session, and they run 7:30-9 on Tuesday and Thursday. Please bring cash.

Tuesday will be fitness-oriented and Thursday will focus on technical boxing skills.

🥊WEEK 2 TASTER SESSIONS 🥊

From Monday 10th Oct to Friday 14th October, we are opening our sessions to everyone. This means sessions throughout this time will not require a Warwick sports membership. Sessions are suitable for all boxers from beginners to those with a more advanced skill set. All equipment will be provided by the club but anyone with their own are more than welcome to bring it along.

Sessions must be booked through Warwick sport. They are listed under “Zz Boxing Club”. Once you have booked, this will give you access to the sports hub so you can get to studio 1. Please remmeber your Warwick ID to enter the sports hub.

Anybody looking to improve their boxing technique, get fit or try a new sport come along. We look forward to meeting you all.
