Today we wish all the luck in the world to our amazing member Nicky Baker as she takes on the UK’s biggest Ultramarathon
THE WALL 😱
Running 70 miles along Hadrians Wall from Carlisle to Newcastle!!

Why is she doing it?
To raise much needed funds for The Myton Hospices who support people with life limiting illnesses with whatever they and their loved ones’ need to make this precious time easier for them all. 🦋❤️

It’s Volunteers Week 2026 and we want to say a huge thank you to every single one of our wonderful volunteers!

BCRC is entirely run by volunteers who willingly give up their precious spare time to help run our club and support each and every one of our members to achieve their running ambitions.

Whether you’re a member of our committee, one of our fabulous run leaders, involved in organising events, coordinating kit or developing our website you are the heartbeat of the club.

Thank you for all you do for the club and our members, without you our fabulous club would not exist.

Do you love to run? Would you like to set yourself a challenge to train for our 10KM run or beat your personal best time. Come and enjoy our Balsall Common's 10KM run and take in the atmosphere on the way round.

📍The Fun Run will start and finish at Balsall Common Primary School

5to5k running course

Balsall Common Run Club is currently offering a five week 5to5k running course designed for complete beginners or those whose running days are long behind them .....
We can't guarantee you'll be running the full distance by the end of the course, but we can assure you you'll have met some great people and had a lot of laughs!
Sessions will run on Tuesdays from 6:30 pm - 7:30pm starting on 9 June.
The full course costs £10 in total
There is no obligation to join the club, although the £10 will be discounted from the membership fee should you decide to join us at the end of the course.
