Summer FAQs 🌿
As we head into our busiest season, here are a few helpful things to know before visiting The Lakes at Lavender Hall.
All Swimming, Sauna, Paddleboarding and Wild Wellness sessions must be booked online before arrival. Each guest must make their own individual booking so their waiver can be completed before taking part.
Swim & Sauna sessions are for ages 16+. Anyone aged 16–17 must be accompanied by an adult.
Paddleboarding is for ages 12+. Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult, and the adult must be on their own board.
Please follow the parking signs on arrival and park in the correct area for your session. For Ruby’s Lake and café sessions, please use the main parking areas. If the parking area by the main gate is busy, continue driving down past the café and park further on. For Wild Wellness, please drive past the café and park by the entrance to the Wild Wellness area. For the Activity Lake, please follow the signs for Activity Lake parking.
Tow floats are mandatory all year round for open water swimming. Please bring your own, or hire/purchase one upon arrival. Wetsuits and swim hats are optional, although we recommend a swim hat for visibility and warmth.
The café is open for drinks, snacks and refreshments whenever swimming sessions are running. We kindly ask that all food and drink consumed on site is purchased from the café.
Due to limited space, we do not have room for sunbathing or staying around the lake after your session. However, you are very welcome to enjoy the café before or after your visit.
Our camping area is suitable for motorhomes and campervans only. We do not allow tents, and there is currently no electric hook-up available.
Our lakeside saunas are also available for exclusive hire, subject to availability. Please contact us directly to enquire.
Thank you for helping us keep The Lakes safe, calm and enjoyable for everyone this summer.
