"The Guild" is the oldest amateur club in Coventry, and the second oldest club only to Coventry RFC. The club was founded by young men connected with Holy Trinity Church on February 24th 1899, at the Old Grammar School in Bishop Street. The aim of the club has always been to introduce new players to the game and give as many as possible the opportunity to play at the least expenditure. The name Tr

inity Guild was a happy choice because it echoed that of the famous Guild of Coventry Merchants, founded in 1364

Today, Trinity Guild RFC is affiliated to The Rugby Football Union, Warwickshire R.F.U., Coventry & Mid Warwickshire R.F.C. We play rugby in Midlands 4 West (South) and were Warwickshire 1 Champions 2002/2003

New players are always welcome, please contact the club if you are interested in playing

You are all invited to the Trinity Guild RFC Transition Evening on Thursday 18th June 2026 7pm Start as we launch the brand new U17s Pathway to Colts Rugby.

The evening will include:

🏉 Introduction to the newly formed U17s pathway into Colts & Senior Rugby
🏉 Meet the new coaching team
🏉 Preseason plans & expectations for 2026/27

The focus is on preparing the u17s players for the demands of u18s colts & senior rugby — building confidence, improving performance and creating a clear pathway into adult rugby.

The newly formed u17s will provide a platform to improve players technically and tactically, providing a clear pathway into senior rugby and support every individual in reaching their potential.
