Ikkyo against a jab . What you don’t see is the initial side movement to the outside of the opponents jab , the use of one hand as a guard and deflector of the jab and finally the simultaneous atemi (strike) to the opponents head / face ( can be done with open hand or fist ) . Then the transition into Ikkyo . It requires hundreds of repetitions to make it plausible and ingrained.
