Some clips from our most recent session last Sunday at Lamon Ballet Associates.✨

We spent the day working on our Ballet & Contemporary technique, and we worked on our improvisation with both our upper and lower students. 🩰

We hope you all had a fantastic session! For those who couldn’t make last week due to competitions, we can’t wait to see you next month!✨🫶

What a fantastic session we had yesterday at Lamon Ballet Associates!🫶

We began the day with conditioning work, then straight into ballet, working hard with our barre work and ballet technique in the centre, learning some tricky new steps!

Our Uppers finished the day learning Gulnara’s variation from Le Corsaire and our Lowers the Chopiniana variation from Les Sylphides, performed to our wonderfully supportive audience of parents, grandparents and siblings. It’s great to have new students joining us almost every month too!

We had a fantastic March session at Lamon Ballet Associates last Sunday!

We began our day with a warm up and floor barre focusing on core strength and flexibility. Then our lower group worked on their technique particularly glissades and pas de bo***ée. Our upper group started with some centre barre and then all things turns preparing for their repertoire in our afternoon class.

Both groups learnt a reportoire piece from the ballet Paquita. Our uppers learnt the 4th variation, and our lowers learnt the variation no 1 moderato.

Super well done to all of students this month, you all worked very hard!🤍

Celebrating 6 years of Lamon Ballet Associates 🩰✨

On January 12th, 2020, we held our very first Lamon Ballet Associates session; what an incredible journey it has been since. Over the past six years, Sophie and I have loved every moment of nurturing a dancer’s passion
for ballet and watching our LBA community grow. We have taught just over 60 sessions, some of which were held online during COVID!

We have taught our students many pieces from both ballet and contemporary repertoire. Our personal favourite repertoires we have taught include:
The Dance of the c***s and hens (La Fille Mal Gardee), The Caterpillar (Alice in wonderland), Nikiyia’s Entrance ( La Bayadere) and of course an annual favourite the Sugar Plum Fairy (The Nutcracker).

We are so proud to have welcomed over 100 students from more than 15 different dance schools into our classes, each bringing their own dedication, artistry, and love for ballet.

Thank you to all of our past and present students and parents for your continued trust and support. And also thank you to all the dance principals that have encouraged their students to enhance their training by coming to LBA. We can’t wait to continue sharing our love for ballet and inspiring the next generation of dancers 🤍✨

Today we celebrate the art form that inspires us every day🩰

To all our students, past and present: we’re so proud of the grace, dedication, and joy you bring to every class and performance. Our goal at Lamon Ballet Associates has always been to nurture a lifelong love of ballet and seeing our students passion grow over the years is the greatest reward of all.

A fantastic session to kick off 2025-26 Lamon Ballet Associates today. It was lovely to see some new students, as well as welcoming back some of our returning students!🩰

Today we started the day with our repertoire pieces, as some of our students had to leave early due to competitions (let us know how you did!). ✨

Our Lowers learned a scene from Coppélia which involved lots of fun acting, and our Uppers did a solo piece from Le Corsaire.

We ended the day with some Floor Barre and centre work and then welcomed parents back to watch!
