🚨 Important Update for Anyone Considering Cosmetic Procedures in the UK 🚨

The government has announced a major crackdown on unsafe and unregulated cosmetic procedures to protect the public from harm. Here’s what’s changing:

💉 High-Risk Treatments like Brazilian Butt Lifts (liquid BBLs) will only be allowed if performed by healthcare professionals registered with the CQC.

👄 Injectables like lip fillers and Botox will now require licensing from local authorities, and practitioners must meet strict training, safety, and insurance standards.

🚫 No more high-risk treatments for under-18s, unless approved by a healthcare professional.

🏠 The government is aiming to shut down “cowboy” practitioners working from homes, hotels, and pop-up shops who put lives at risk and leave the NHS to deal with botched results.

🧑‍⚕️ This move is supported by industry leaders and comes after tragic cases like that of Alice Webb, a mother-of-five who lost her life following a botched at-home procedure.

This is not about banning cosmetic treatments, but making sure they’re done safely by trained professionals. It’s about protecting you, your friends, and your loved ones from serious harm.
