📝 Accident and near-miss reporting reminder:

Keeping records of fencing-related accidents, injuries and 'near-misses' contributes to the regular assessments done by the Safety Committee.

Injuries or near-misses to do with weapons or protective clothing are especially important, but all reports are helpful.

Please report:

- All injuries that happen in a fencing environment.
-Any near-miss – a close call that could have been worse (e.g. mask falling off).
- Serious medical incidents requiring attention (e.g. collapse, asthma attack, cardiac episode).
- Protective clothing failure – this is especially important.

York Open 2027 - 13th and 14th March is now open for entries on bf.sport80.com
Please note there are early bird discounts available for 1 weapon until New Years Eve at 10pm and 2 weapon discount until 28th February at 10pm.
We have also listened to your feedback and will ensure that all epee events will be on roll out pistes.
