How I’m spending my final few weeks before baby arrives… 🤍
As I get closer to meeting our little one, I’ve been trying to slow down, soak up every moment and really embrace this final chapter of pregnancy.
Here’s a little snapshot of what these last few weeks have looked like…
1️⃣ Keeping active 💪
Still moving my body with gentle gym sessions, walking and easy resistance work. It makes such a difference to how I feel physically and mentally.
2️⃣ Relaxing & reading 📚
Making time to switch off with a good Freida McFadden book has become one of my favourite ways to unwind.
3️⃣ Coffee dates & socialising ☕
Enjoying those catch-ups with family and friends while it’s still easy to head out and make memories together.
4️⃣ Preparing for birth 🌿
After sessions with Enrich Your Birth I’m feeling more informed, confident and excited for labour, whatever the outcome 🫶.
5️⃣ Preparing my body for labour 🍵
Raspberry leaf tea, dates and nourishing foods have become part of my daily routine as I prepare for birth.
6️⃣ Quality time with my little family 👨👩👧
Making the absolute most of these precious moments as a family of three before everything changes in the most beautiful way.
7️⃣ Nesting to the maximum 🏡
If it can be labelled, organised or folded… chances are I’ve already done it! 😂
8️⃣ Still teaching classes (on a reduced timetable!) 💪
Doing what I love for as long as my body allows. Every class feels that little bit more special now.
9️⃣ Patiently waiting 🤍
Counting down the days until we finally get to meet the newest member of our family.
Pregnancy looks different for everyone, but these are the little things that have helped me feel calm, prepared and enjoy these final weeks.
If you’re also waiting for your little one, I hope this gives you a few ideas. 🤍
What helped you most in those final weeks of pregnancy? Or what are you doing to prepare? I’d love to know! ✨
