Here we are enjoying a lovely Italian meal together at Casa Nostra 🍝🥂

Pregnancy can sometimes feel lonely, so having a community of other mums-to-be to chat with, share experiences, ask questions and support each other is truly invaluable. 💕

🤰💓 HUG THE BABY 💓🤰

Pregnant mamas… have you taken a few minutes to breathe today? ✨

One simple exercise I’ve been loving throughout pregnancy is “Hug the Baby.”

This gentle breathing exercise can help:
💗 Connect with your deep core muscles
💗 Support your pelvic floor
💗 Encourage good breathing patterns
💗 Reduce tension and stress
💗 Promote relaxation for both you and baby

✨ How to do it:

🌬️ Take a deep breath in to prepare.

🌬️ As you breathe out, draw your tummy button in towards your spine, as though you’re giving your baby a gentle hug. See if you can gently lift your pelvic floor too.

⚠️ Think lift, not squeeze.

🌬️ Breathe in and fully relax everything.

Repeat for 8 slow breaths:
➡️ Breathe in for 4
➡️ Breathe out for 8

That’s it! 💕

Simple, effective and something you can do almost anywhere.

Take a few minutes for yourself today, put one hand on your bump, slow your breathing down and give your baby a little hug. 🫶✨

Your Beginner’s Guide to Strength Training for Women 💓🫶

A practical strength training workshop AND workout designed to help women feel confident using weights, improve their technique, and understand how to train effectively for results💓

Did you know that after the age of 30, we naturally begin to lose muscle mass every year?

Strength training is one of the best things you can do to stay strong, healthy, confident and capable for life.

If you’ve ever felt unsure in the gym, avoided the weights area, wondered whether you’re doing exercises correctly or simply want to up your strength game, this workshop is for you.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or already lifting weights and wanting to improve your technique, you’ll leave with the knowledge and confidence to train smarter!

✨ What we’ll cover:
✔️ The fundamentals of strength training for women
✔️ How to structure an effective workout
✔️ Reps, sets and progressive overload explained
✔️ How to choose the right weights for YOU
✔️ Technique coaching and form breakdowns
✔️ Common mistakes and how to avoid them
✔️ Recovery, rest and progression
✔️ Building confidence in the gym or at home

🔥 PLUS a full guided strength workout where you’ll put everything into practice with coaching and support throughout.

I’m 29 weeks pregnant myself and I’m a pre & postnatal fitness instructor and personal trainer with a passion for movement 🫶🙌. I’m also a Mum to a three year old girl, so I totally get the ‘juggle’ of pregnancy, work and life!

I help women stay active, feel good in their bodies, and move safely through pregnancy, postnatal recovery and everyday life 💗

Spend a day recovering from a slipped disc as a fitness instructor/PT at 29 weeks pregnant 🤍☀️

As a very active person whose life and work revolves around fitness… this life change has been quite big 🫠🫶🏼

I’ve not been able to drive or stand for longer than a few minutes at a time, but every single day I’m seeing tiny bits of progress ✨ This was day 8 of the injury & luckily the sunshine has made being housebound feel that little bit easier ☀️

To say this injury has been hard is an understatement… but I’m always someone who tries to stay positive, so here’s what my recovery day looked like 👇🏼

🥗 Nutritious food to fuel my body & recovery
🦯 Picking things up with my litter picker because I can’t bend 🤣 (safe to say nothing much is getting done around the house)
💪🏼 PT session in the garden - I sat and coached!
☕️ Iced coffees… because I discovered Deliveroo Costa is basically the same price as going to the shop which feels dangerous knowledge 🤣
🤰🏼 Midwife appointment - who kindly came out to me which was amazing
📚 Started my new book: The Teacher by Freida McFadden. I’ve struggled to find time to read over the last 6 months but I’m finally back into it & loving it
🩵 A few physio exercises on my pregnancy ball - I’m really limited with what my back CAN do right now but I’m following instructions and doing everything I can to help recovery
🥹 Finishing the day with toddler cuddles

Right now the most important thing is that baby is happy in there & I’m getting stronger ready for delivery in 11 weeks 👶🏼🤍

Fingers crossed we continue to improve and life starts to feel a little more normal again soon ✨
