It was a real pleasure to welcome Baroness Sater, President of Tennis Wales, to the award winning Corwen Community Tennis Courts. Baroness Sater was very interested in the progress of the sports clubs at Corwen and was particularly impressed by the trophy cabinet πŸ† . Thanks to those that have contributed to the recent success including Becky and Joel as well as Sian, Mike and Llyr at Corwen Town Council 🎾

Good evening tennis fans!

We are delighted to have been awarded "Park of the Year" for a second consecutive year. This means another trophy for the cabinet in the pavilion.

Looking forward to seeing people out under the floodlights soon!

Good evening tennis fans!

Corwen Community Tennis Courts are delighted to have been awarded Β£36,000.00 for the installation of LED floodlights to the award winning courts.

The club has kindly been awarded a grant from Clocaenog Wind Farm Fund who have been a big supporter of the War Memorial Park at Corwen. The lights are Wales Dark Skies compliant, integrated with the court booking system and will allow for year round tennis. The work was completed last week by Kingfisher Lighting.

Big thanks to all those that have made the project possible. These include Sian Thomas, Mike McNamara, Llyr Jones, Becky Roberts, Joel Scott and Gwenno Jones.
