We are very pleased to say we had a great turnout over the weekend for our open days. You certainly did bowl up and we were bowled over by the wonderful support we received. By all accounts everyone enjoyed themselves, and showed that bowls is a sport for everyone. A very big thank you to all our visitors who came along to have a go at bowls, we really did appreciate seeing you, and we look forward to welcoming you back soon. Many thanks also to all our members who supported and welcomed our visitors to the Club, and providing refreshments. A special thanks to the coaches Sue, Phill, Tony and Dave for organising and running the days, with a special mention and congratulations to Dave J who recently qualified as a bowls coach and did a fantastic job in his first coaching event as a qualified coach Weren’t able to join us ? Don’t worry, our free coaching sessions are held each Monday evening at 6pm starting tomorrow, Monday 4th May, just come along to the Club with a pair of flat soled shoes.
