Corsham Bowls Club ran a fancy dress charity day in aid of Julia’s House. A couple of friendly bowls games, raffle and food made for a really enjoyable afternoon.

Corsham Bowls Club hosted their Triples Gala competition yesterday on a glorious sunny day with perfect conditions for bowling. After a friendly but competitive contest, congratulations go to the winners, who were Christine, Milburn and Paul.
The wooden spoon was awarded to Martyn on behalf of his team which included Barbara and Madeline.

We are always actively looking to welcome new members 😀.

We have had a little makeover. Our new scoreboards have arrived and are looking fantastic. A huge thank you to Chris Pugh - St James’s Wealth Management ([email protected]) for sponsoring this upgrade and supporting our club. We can’t wait for everyone to see them during upcoming matches.

🏆 Rene Seagar Trophy Winners! 🏆

Corsham Bowls Club recently held its in-house Rene Seagar Trophy Pairs Competition, with members enjoying a fantastic day of bowling, friendship and competition.

Players and spectators were well catered for, with the bar open throughout and a choice of delicious savoury or cream teas available.

Congratulations to Rob & Chris, who played superbly throughout the competition to become this year's Rene Seagar Trophy winners! 🎉

A big thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the event such an enjoyable success.

We are very pleased to say we had a great turnout over the weekend for our open days. You certainly did bowl up and we were bowled over by the wonderful support we received. By all accounts everyone enjoyed themselves, and showed that bowls is a sport for everyone. A very big thank you to all our visitors who came along to have a go at bowls, we really did appreciate seeing you, and we look forward to welcoming you back soon. Many thanks also to all our members who supported and welcomed our visitors to the Club, and providing refreshments. A special thanks to the coaches Sue, Phill, Tony and Dave for organising and running the days, with a special mention and congratulations to Dave J who recently qualified as a bowls coach and did a fantastic job in his first coaching event as a qualified coach Weren’t able to join us ? Don’t worry, our free coaching sessions are held each Monday evening at 6pm starting tomorrow, Monday 4th May, just come along to the Club with a pair of flat soled shoes.

Have you ever thought about trying bowls? Corsham Bowls Club is hosting open days over the first Bank Holiday weekend in May (2nd & 3rd May) — why not come along and give it a go?

Can’t make that weekend? No problem! Join us at our open coaching sessions, held every Monday evening from 6pm, starting on Monday 4th May.

All you need is a pair of flat-soled shoes (such as trainers), and you’ll be ready to play with guidance from our friendly and experienced coaches.

Open to all age groups, including children over the age of eight. New members are always welcome.

We look forward to welcoming you to the club!
