Exciting times!!

Just 1 week to go until Swimcamp 2026 takes our swimmers on a training journey towards some huge marathon swims.

The water is warming up nicely, your support crew have been in today testing temps and finalising the weeks activities.

It's definitely warmer than it ever used to be in May!

See you all soon.

We finally saw the sun for a whole day yesterday, and it felt warm!!

Swimcamp is only a couple of months away so this was a very welcome sight down here in Cornwall! β˜€οΈ

Hi everyone!

If anyone is planning to swim for a charity but isnt sure who to support, could I please ask you to have a look at this group based in Bodmin. Cornwall.

Adie Dove set up KBSK, Kick Back Street Kidz (when she was just 15) she supports and runs this group who privide support to families, bring the community together, provide a safe space for children to be themselves and explore the arts...Adie is a phenomenal dancer an incredible human, and also, a very good friend of mine, she has personally had an impact on my life and I would love for her mission to be supported more to allow her & her team to continue to help young people.

Adie has won awards and represented local people with a voice in many a venue all over the UK.

A very inspiring and talented lady and a quick Google search of her name will give you more info...

Thank you for reading and feel free to share!

Evening all!!

Some more great news to give you from this year's swimcamp participants 😁πŸ’ͺ

Nicolie Chaffe completed Catalina Channel which was the final swim of her Triple Crown πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘ Amazing swimming! Congratulations πŸ‘

Gail Edmans completed a 2 way Windermere! A swimcamp repeat offender that trusts the process. This was a swim that was postponed because of weather but Gail held her nerve and nailed it.

Ken Williams swam Torbay after a few issues along the way, this was a sweet success for Ken. Amazing as always!

Philip & Helen casually knocked out a couple of very long Scottish lochs on the quiet 🀫 Well done both of you! πŸ‘Œ

David Randall swam another length of Lake Windermere. Another of our swimcampers who comes back every year, exceeds his goals and has plenty more to give. Very well done, David πŸ‘

I cant wait to welcome next years swimmers & to see what they can all achieve πŸ™Œ

Apologies for the late posts, however, it is always nice to come back to these things out of season when we are all miss...

Apologies for the late posts, however, it is always nice to come back to these things out of season when we are all missing the swim community.

Sharon Bellamy is a Channel Swimmer!

On 29th September 2025 in a fantastic time of 15hrs 14mins, Sharon Swam the English Channel!! πŸ‘βœ”οΈ

Sharon has attended every swimcamp and exceeded her goals, amazed herself with what is possible and basically did as she was told with no question...Sharon put her trust into us and worked hard to achieve so much in the last few years. Sharon swam a 2 way Windermere and Jersey to France as practice swims in the run up to her EC.

Luke Venables, also became a Channel Swimmer on 9th October in a time of 14hrs 45mins.

Luke and Sharon became great training buddies on camp over the last couple of years and raced each other around at Dover for the BLDSA Champion of Champions.

Lukes lovely wife, Leonie, gifted an EC swim to Luke for his 50th Birthday and he put his all into training and getting it right. Another great Swimmer who came and trusted the process, took the advice and it paid off after many false alarms, weather delays, boat failure and finally swimming on a day the forecast says was good but it was far from ideal. A tough swim perfectly executed!

It take commitment and dedication from the swimmer but let's not forget the 'other halves' who are there 100% of the time supporting our crazy adventures. Lee & Leonie did that in spades over the last few seasons. Thank you 😊 you are amazing.

Congratulations to you both, Channel Swimmers πŸ‘ πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
