Throwback to client Jodie's progress!

Looking absolutely insane 🔥

This was 6 months of hard work and consistency in the making 👏🏻

Before working together, Jodie was struggling to gain weight and add muscle mass in particular and wasn’t sure what she was doing wrong.

Nutrition wasn’t in the best position and she would often snack as and when possible and not really hit a specific calorie target or macronutrient split.

We quickly identified this and rectified the issue by slowly increasing Jodie's calories and establishing a maintenance before we move into a gradual surplus.

We also slowly increased Jodie's training up to 5 times a week with specific goals with intent and purpose.

It was an absolute pleasure being able to achieve this ans set Jodie on the right track moving forward! 🤘🏻🚀

Let me introduce myself 👋🏻

As people normally see the “end result”, I thought it would be good for you to know a bit about me as your potential coach and my background!

I started bodybuilding in 2014 after coming away from fashion modelling, excessive running and under eating!

The plan was just to get a little bit of muscle but I quickly fell in love with training and feeling strong!

Fast forward and I’ve competed 13 times across numerous federations and divisions, won numerous champion titles in my division and built my knowledge as both an athlete and coach! 😊

I’m a bodybuilding, photoshoot prep and posing coach!

I love the art of posing 💃

👩🏻‍🎓 I’ve got my undergraduate in sports science and MSc in strength and conditioning.

I also have my qualification to teach English among numerous other qualifications relating to languages (I wanted to be a translator at one point ).

I speak fluent Spanish 🇪🇸

I’m a huge petrol head ⛽️ 🚗

I love my dogs and all animals for that matter! 🐶

And of course I love all things bodybuilding and sports science related - I’m a huge nerd at heart 🩵

I care about my clients and about getting them the results and goals they set out.

It’s not just about throwing you a training and nutrition plan and off you go!

No, we work on improving the following:

Structure: without structure, it’s very difficult to know how to start and where to go from there. You need a PLAN and GOALS.

Education: It’s all well and good following a plan and ticking the boxes but I want you to know WHY you’re doing what I’m asking of you!

Sustainability: achieving results is what it’s all about but the difficulty is to then MAINTAIN these long-term and to not revert back to where you started.

That’s where Team DB comes in ☝🏻💠

❌ Myth: Carbohydrates cause fat gain.

✅ Fact: It’s not carbohydrates but a surplus of calories that leads to fat gain. Carbs are an essential source of energy, especially for training and recovery.

❌ Myth: Artificial sweeteners are harmful.

✅ Fact: Research consistently shows no adverse effects from moderate consumption of artificial sweeteners. They can be a useful tool for managing sugar intake without compromising health.

❌ Myth: Your bodyweight is the ultimate measure of progress

✅ Fact: Progress is better measured through performance, energy levels, and overall wellbeing. The scale is just one metric among many and does not reflect muscle gain, fat loss, or fitness improvements.

❌ Myth: Intermittent fasting is the superior method for fat loss

✅ Fact: While intermittent fasting may suit some individuals, the cornerstone of fat loss is a consistent calorie deficit. The most effective method is one that aligns with your goals and lifestyle.
