It would seem summerโ€™s packed its bags and left alreadyโ€ฆ ๐ŸŒง๏ธโ˜€๏ธ Weโ€™re only in June, but the sunshine appears to have been a limited-time offer, so the Aintree coat has made an early return.

Both boys had the saddle fitter today and Boo is officially ready to get between the white boards now the dressage gear is fitted properly ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผโœจ
And Bart may be getting himself a little birthday present soonโ€ฆ once Iโ€™ve done enough overtime to stop crying every time I open my banking app ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿ˜‚

Now Iโ€™m off to bed because burnout is lurking round the corner and the bags under my eyes deserve their own sponsorship deal at this point. ๐Ÿ˜ด

Boo is feeling fancy. Bart is feeling expensive. Iโ€™m just out here trying to keep up. ๐Ÿด๐Ÿ’€

Bart decided throwing himself on the floor was preferable to getting on the lorry ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ, so no jumping for him, which Iโ€™m not going to lie, Iโ€™m pretty gutted about because heโ€™s been going so well and I know heโ€™d have loved the course .

Cue emergency backup horse, a quick plait for Boo and a class swapโ€ฆ who then also point blank refused to load ๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿš›.

At that point I gave up ๐Ÿ˜…. Off I went to the show in full show gear, completely horseless โœŒ๐Ÿฝ.

Hopefully some loading practice this week ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ and we can try again.

Really nice of them both to honour my entry fee by not actually attending. ๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Me and Barnacle had the BEST flat lesson today โ€” transition work, straightness, and fixing my questionable riding habits one trot stride at a time ๐Ÿคญ

And the cherry on top? My coach saying โ€œitโ€™s all coming togetherโ€ and โ€œyouโ€™ve clicked.โ€
Safe to say Bart was feeling just as smug about it as I was ๐Ÿ˜Œโœจ

โœ”๏ธ Started my new job today and genuinely loved every second of it???

The newest member of the family has arrived and Bay HQ officially has a new mode of transport ready for some exciting adventures for my giraffe and hippo ๐Ÿฆ’๐Ÿฆ›โœจ

After a VERY long drive home, sheโ€™s finally hereโ€ฆ and already giving main character energy ๐Ÿ˜‚
