An Evening with Sir Bill Beaumont at Upper Eden RUFC

We were delighted to welcome Sir Bill Beaumont to Upper Eden RUFC on Friday 17th April 2026 for a truly memorable evening. The event brought together members of the local community and rugby supporters for an inspiring night of conversation and connection.

Sir Bill Beaumont shared fascinating insights from a distinguished career in rugby, followed by an engaging Q&A session that gave guests the chance to hear first‑hand experiences of leadership at the highest level of the sport.

The evening also supported an important cause, with funds raised going towards the club’s development project — helping to improve our facilities and secure the future growth of rugby in the Upper Eden area.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event. It was a fantastic night and a great example of what our club and community can achieve together.

Upper Eden RUFC is seeking a Head Coach / Player-Coach for the Senior Men’s Teams for the 2026/2027 season with the first team competing in Level 6 – Regional 2 North and the second team in the Candy League.

We are looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified coach, or an enthusiastic player-coach, to help develop and lead a talented young squad.

Remuneration will be dependent on qualifications and experience.

That’s the league season wrapped up with a dominant win in our final fixture on Saturday. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout the season.

Last week we held our first Easter Rugby Camp alongside our girls activity day, a day of rugby fun and activities!!

We had over 30 children come down and join in across all the age grades, we had a fantastic day and thank fully the weather held off for us.

A big thank you from the coaches who ran the session to all the kids who attended for their team work on and off the pitch.

We look forward to hosting our next camp soon!!!
