On Tuesday before training with my Girls group I received this hand drawn card from one of the girls. She is going to be pausing her GK training, so that she can rehearse for a theatre show that she is a part of.

Moments like this are good for the soul. Such a thoughtful thing to do and she will be missed for the time that she is away from us. I know she will smash it and show all of that character and determination that makes her a great keeper too!

One thing is for sure….we will never give up!

This was a lot of fun! I really enjoyed delivering this goalkeeping awareness session to Wellingborough Whitworth FC Girls Team.

The girls were brilliant and really engaged in the session. We talked about how the team can support their goalkeeper on match days and in training.

My thanks to coaches Rob and Alan for their support and having me along.
