Corby EVS have defied the odds and fended off interest from several clubs to secure the services of last season’s top goalscorer across both the Saturday and Sunday teams.

After a period of tough contract negotiations, James Bradley has agreed to re-sign for the EVS ahead of the new season.

Speaking at a press conference earlier today, Bradley explained his decision:

“I had a long think over the weekend, and on Sunday something just told me I had to go again with the lads down at West Glebe. We’ve built something special here, and I’m excited to be part of it for another season.”

The news will come as a huge boost to players, staff, and supporters alike, with Bradley’s goals proving crucial throughout last season’s campaign.

Everyone at Corby EVS is delighted to see James commit his future to the club and looks forward to seeing him back in action in EVS colours for the season ahead. ⚽💙💛

Now that we know we are in division 3 this year we want to mount a serious challenge

The new name for Corby Siam fc
As some of you may already know when we left Stanion midway through last season we had to change our name so we will now be known as Corby Evs AFC playing at West Glebe Park pitch 1. We will be only a Saturday team from now on.
Our main aim has always been to concentrate on get the transition of youth football to adult but we are also looking for experienced players to help us create the right blend

This is our last game of the season and our last game as FC Siam (more to follow on this over the next week )
The season has been very tough for the lads with 54 players playing for the team over 26 games
With some only playing 1 game and others playing 21
Emmanuel Gyasi and Patrick Gerrard but every game was important.
I would like to thank everyone of the players for helping us this season and hope to see them back when we start preseason training in next couple of weeks when we come back under our new name
